Located on Yawushan Island in Xiaoshan Xianghu Scenic Area, the Headquarters of World Tourism Alliance (World Tourism Museum Project) has been basically completed through the construction for three and a half years, and is now under interior decoration and exhibition arrangement. The world’s first tourism-themed comprehensive museum is expected to be open to the public by the end of this year. 

With a total construction area of nearly 40,000 square meters, the World Tourism Museum is featured by Permanent Interactive Exhibition Area, Tourism Culture & Artistic Courtyard Gallery, International Chess House, WTA Kindling Plaza, and International Tourism Sculpture Park. The design style of the museum is the combination of “Chinese culture, Song aesthetics, ethos of Yue, and spirit of Xiaoshan”. The whole Yawushan Island will be built into a “pan-museum” eco-park.
