Since Hangzhou was announced as the host city of the Asian Games, the city has swung into action and has successively carried out various construction projects. As one of these projects, the Asian Games Village has been officially completed after the construction for three years and a half from June, 2018 to December, 2021.

Located near Qianjiang Century City in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, the Asian Games Village covers a land area of 1.13 square kilometers and is made up of Athletes Village, Technical Officials Village, Media Village, International Zone and Public Zone. It will provide accommodation, medical and other services for approximately 20,000 athletes, technical officials and media reporters during the Asian Games. After the event, the Asian Games Village will be converted into a template zone for future human settlement that is integrated by the functions of business, commerce, culture, exposition, sports, entertainment and eco-friendly residence.
