The Second China (Hangzhou) Su Dongpo Cultural Tourism Festival & Su Dongpo Culture Forum was held on July 12, aiming to provide an interesting and lively new platform with rich contents for the co-creation and sharing of Su Dongpo Culture through the display and experience of Song culture, the interpretation of thoughts on life aesthetics and the appreciation of calligraphy and painting masterpieces.

Su Dongpo, who ever served as the "mayor" of Hangzhou, is the classical icon of the outstanding traditional Chinese culture as well as the globally renowned symbol of oriental culture. Su Dongpo had left his footprints in mountains, rivers, gardens and temples of Hangzhou. Therefore, five "Dongpo Cultural Tourism Routes" were released on the site so that tourists and citizens may follow Su’s footsteps in experiencing Hangzhou.
