Fuyang district in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, recently rolled out 13 measures to help stabilize economic development, local media outlets reported.
"It used to be hard to find the suitable personnel to solve our problems, but now with the new talent pool, we can easily have our problems solved by simply explaining our needs," said Xu Guoyuan, director of a local machinery factory.
The talent pool Xu mentioned was actually a "talent sharing database" established by Longmen town in Fuyang to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises find target personnel to realize technological breakthroughs. The service covers fields such as equipment maintenance, intelligent manufacturing, environmental protection, and industrial design.
In addition to the talent pool, the measures were aimed more at solving the source of enterprises' problems.
For example, Fuyang has launched a service platform to respond to the needs of the public.
"I was worried about how to resume production as soon as possible. Thanks to the platform, my needs were immediately answered by the government with the new factory site confirmed and the interim factory being put into operation," said Hu Yufeng, director of the arts and crafts company.
The measures also included coordinating the recruitment of more than 5,500 State-owned enterprise employees, social workers and enterprise employees and increasing subsidies for college graduates.
