2022 Third Hangzhou Liangzhu Day series activities kick off today. As the earliest known large-scale water conservancy system in China and the world's earliest flood control dam project, Tiger Hill Site Park, a water conservancy system in the periphery of the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, is officially open to the public today. This is the only site to display the sectional structure of the ancient water conservancy system.
Located in Penggong Village, Pingyao Town, Tiger Hill Site Park features a water drop-shaped protective shed. The opening of the park indicates that a complete system, which consists of Tiger Hill Site Park, Liangzhu Museum, Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, and Yaoshan Site Park, has been developed to display the value of the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City as a world cultural heritage.
