At "China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone Life Health Industry Promotion Conference 2022 & The Sixth International Biomedical (Hangzhou) Innovation Summit" held in Hangzhou on June 30, well-known domestic and foreign pharmaceutical companies, renowned experts and professionals in pharmaceutical consulting, investment and financing industry contributed their opinions and suggestions for the development of domestic biomedical industry. 

At the summit, Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone Hangzhou Area launched the pilot joint supervision mechanism for the entry safety of special goods. Also, Hangzhou Pharmaceutical Port Biomedical Industry Innovation and Development Plan was released on the site. 

According to sources, the total revenue of biomedical enterprises in Qiantang District reached 45 billion yuan in 2021, up 12% from a year earlier. At present, more than 1,500 biomedical enterprises have aggregated at the Pharmaceutical Port, including seven of the world's top 10 pharmaceutical enterprises, such as Abbott and Johnson & Johnson.
