Baimahu Laboratory was officially established on the morning of June 7 in Binjiang district of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.
Baimahu laboratory, the Zhejiang Provincial Laboratory for energy and carbon neutralization, is one of the third batch of provincial laboratories approved in Zhejiang. It is a new research and development institution led by Zhejiang Provincial Energy Group Company and jointly built by Zhejiang University and Westlake University.
Baimahu Laboratory will focus on the research areas of green energy conversion and transmission, solar energy conversion, and low-carbon energy. It aims to solve the major scientific problems in the energy field and build a clean supply system to ensure energy security.
