Chinese rose will become the dominant flowers of Hangzhou, known as “Garden City”, after late spring. Decorated with millions of flowers, all the viaducts (elevated roads) in Hangzhou will be turned into beautiful “Sky Flower Corridors”. This year, about 700,000 additional Chinese rose seedlings will be planted on 25 viaducts (elevated roads), as a part of the citywide landscaping action for Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 launched by Hangzhou Administration of Gardens and Cultural Relics. Thus, the total number of the Chinese rose seedlings grown on the viaducts will surpass 20 million prior to the opening of Asian Games Hangzhou 2022. With the general landscaping standards of “being refreshing and natural, appealing to eyes, and integrating cultural elements in landscaping with fragrance wafting all over the city”, the gardeners will go all out to beautify the city for the upcoming Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.
