West Lake International Golf Course, the official golf course for Hangzhou 2022, was powered up on March 31, marking that all competition venues for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 and the 4th Asian Para Games Hangzhou 2022 were electrified with green power. It will be the first time all Asian Games venues have been electrified with green power in history.

To guarantee 100% green power supply for Hangzhou 2022, State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company organized two green power transactions uniting multi-forces and thus managed to transmit photovoltaic power from Qaidam Basin in Qinghai Province, Jiayuguan in Gansu Province, Loess Plateau, and other sources scattered along the Silk Road to Zhejiang by EHV lines, lighting up Hangzhou 2022 with green power from the Silk Road. What is worth mentioning is that 136 Hangzhou-based distributed State Grid photovoltaic power stations will also provide green power for Hangzhou 2022 to further explore new mode of green power transaction.
