The completion of Hangzhou Asian Games Village, located at the southern bank of Qiantang River, was announced at the end of December 2021. The village has been honored with Zhejiang’s first “National Green Urban Area with 2-Star Design and Planning Sign”. How “green” is it on earth then? At present all buildings in the village are of or above 2-star rating, 50% are of 3-star rating, and the area of green buildings with a high star rating has reached over 2 million square meters.
