According to a press conference on Hangzhou’s holistic “Zero Waste City” construction held yesterday, the city will enhance the construction of “Zero Waste City” in all respects next year. As of now Hangzhou has built over 800 “zero waste cells”, including zero waste schools, zero waste hospitals, zero waste factories, zero waste village, and zero waste scenic areas, and explored a batch of effective “zero waste modes”. To better develop “Zero Waste Asian Games”, it is necessary to advocate the concept of “Zero Waste Asian Games”, build “Zero Waste Asian Games venues”, and deal with various solid wastes in a proper way.
