According to HAGOC, the volunteer recruitment for Hangzhou Asian Games has recently come to an end, followed by selection, appointment, training and other steps. As of now the total number of people who registered for the recruitment has reached 321,400, 220,000 out of which have been through to the next round. Near 15,000 applicants are minority language speakers, such as Japanese, Korean, French, Russian, Arabic, Thai, etc. Besides, over 1,800 foreigners have signed up as international volunteers.
