Hangzhou Planning for Construction of Underground Space Development and Utilization Projects in 2021 had been issued a few days ago, our reporter learned from the Hangzhou Commission of Urban-Rural Development on 15 March. The planning focuses on advancing 65 development projects, aiming to add 5 million square meters of new underground space. In addition, the Special Planning for Underground Space Development and Utilization in Hangzhou (2020-2035) was compiled and completed while coordinating the sequence of development and construction, providing a more three-dimensional development pattern for the city. According to the project schedule, 6 underground space projects, such as Underground Complex of Gonglian (Phase II), Xiaoshan District People’s Square and the Grand Canal Asian Games Park, will be finished this year.
