To speed up the construction of food safety traceability system, Zhejiang Administration for Market Regulation developed the “Zheshilian” system based on the “Zhelenglian” after difficulty tackling for nearly five months. The “Zheshilian” system, short for Zhejiang Closed-Loop Management System for Food Safety Traceability, had been formally put into service, our reporter learned from the Zhejiang Administration for Market Regulation. Food manufacturers and distributors may scan the traceability code of the “Zheshilian” system for warehousing management and transaction completion in the process of food circulation. The system also allows law enforcement officials to complete license/certificate inspection, circulation link traceability, food safety risk disposal and other routine supervision works by traceability code scanning.
