There’re four major species of winter birds in the West Lake every year. They are Cormorants, Mandarin ducks, Vega gulls, and Common mergansers. They fly to Hangzhou for the winter and fly back to the north in spring for production. They will fly back one after another by the end of March. You still have a chance to see them once again if you are really fond of these lovely creatures.
