2020 Jianggan District Multiplication and Releasing Activity, with the theme of “Start & Escort”, was held at Liubao Maritime Affairs Wharf of Qiantang River on 4th December. 100,000 fries were set free into the Qiantang River. The district has conducted multiplication and releasing activity for more than 30 years in order to effectively recover fishery resource, complete the population structure of fish, and improve the water ecological environment of Qiantang River. This year 220,000 fries of silver carp, bighead carp, and other species of fish will be released into the river according to the plan.
