The decision made by Zhejiang Government to accelerate the construction of Hangzhou-Quzhou Railway was brought to public attention.

Departing from Hangzhou, riders will enjoy a “direct”trip to Quzhou, with an reduction in travel time from 1 hour to about 41 minutes.

The railway will start full-fledged operations by 2022.

Hailed as a new hub where Hangzhou-Huangshan, Hangzhou-Quzhou and Jinhua-Jiande railways will meet, Hangzhou’s Jiande is crowned with more strategical importance in transportation.

As planned, Jiande will build a new station, Dayang Town Station, to help reduce the high volume of passengers in the area.

Dayang Town Station will be the first township-leveled station in Zhejiang.
