Zhejiang has reinforced the Covid-19 prevention on imported food with a set of new regulations, including the use of the imported food tracking system, said the announcement last week.
Thistracking system was rolled out earlier in June, in a bid to create a food traceable blockchain solution. All of the products must go through the necessary recorded procedures before going to the customers’ plates.
Along with the quarantine certificate number, the system also gives customers details on the product's supply chain history, including the supplier and shipmentinformation, where the productswerecultivatedand processed, and thestorage information by scanning the “Zhejiang Frozen Food Chain”QR code.
As of today, the system has been activated and applied in a total of 3,084 companies and 794,986 batch of products.
