The Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport announced a new flight schedule for winter and spring on Oct 25.
The airport currently offers around 800 flights per day, including 20 international ones. Domestic flights have been fully resumed and have seen an increase over the same period of last year.
On Oct 25, China United Airlines added two weekly flights connecting Hangzhou and Beijing.
In addition, Loongair Airlines has added two flights connecting Hangzhou with Ankang, Shaanxi province.
China Eastern Airlines will launch two new flights to Mudanjiang and Jiamusi in eastern Heilongjiang province.
Recently launched international flights are all cargo flights. The new Shenzhen-Los Angeles cargo flight will operate every Friday and Saturday.
The airport, located in Xiaoshan district, 27 kilometers away from downtown Hangzhou, has been offering72-hour visa-free transit since October 2014.
