On Oct. 16, the Exchange on Culture and Art between youths in Hangzhou and Taiwan was successfuly held in Hangzhou Henglian Memorial. Themed with "Hangzhou and Taiwan join hands to realize dreams", hundreds of attendees from both Hangzhou and Taiwan engaged in a multitude of invaluable activities including Calligraphy & Painting Exchange Exhibition, Fower Arrangement Art Exhibition, Book Exhibit & Thematic Forum on "General History of Taiwan", and Evening Gala, to promote fine Chinese traditional culture.

Taojun, Secretary General from Federation of Taiwan Compatriots of Zhejiang stated in the keynote speech that, the integrated development between Hangzhou and Taiwan is made even more feasible as Hangzhou is strengthening forces in digital economy, smart-city development, and creating a business-friendly city and the happiest city to live in. " It is hoped that the exchanges and cooperation between the youths of Hangzhou and Taiwan will be deepened, thus boosting the peaceful development of Cross-Straits relations."

Zhou Baohua, President of Taiwan Enterprise Association of Hangzhou pointed out that the fine Chinese traditional culture is the root to all of us and shall be passed down from generation to generation. The task to reinforce the culture shall be be placed on the shoulders of youths from both sides.
