An old farmer was sitting in a big wooden basin with a diameter of over one meter, picking water chestnuts despite of the hot sun in a green pond in Huangdun Village, Renhe Block, Yuhang District. The main produce is Nanhu Water Chestnut, also known as Yuanbao Water Chestnut, which has green coating and tilted corners. It is fresh and crispy when eaten raw and soft and sticky when eaten cooked, making it an ideal summer snack.
