Four large harvesters are reaping wheat in the farm of Yujiafan Village, Shuangpu Town, Xihu District, on 19 May. Covering about 8,500 mu (566.7 hectares), the given crop in Shuangpu grows well and becomes ripe roughly a week earlier than that in the last year, due to quite high temperatures since the start of spring coupled with more sunshine and less rain.
