At present, the COVID-19 pandemic has broken out in multiple regions in the world and overseas Chinese in many countries are active in the fight against the disease. They donate anti-pandemic materials, share experience and appeal for solidarity. They join hands with local people to fight against the pandemic and spread love to the whole world.

Wang Dianqi, honorary chairman of the Canadian Association of Chinese communities, set up a special team to help overseas students, elderlies of different ethnic groups and other vulnerable groups.

When the pandemic broke out in foreign countries, the overseas Chinese who had just stormed ahead in fighting against the pandemic in their homelands threw themselves into the fighting in other countries.

“Forza Italia! Ce la faremo!" Sun Yunzhi, chairman of the Italian BRICS Investment Group, wrote these two sentences in Chinese and Italian on the "Envelope of Love" he gave to his neighbors which were stuffed with masks.

As the supervisory operator of Italian International Broadcasting Media Co., Ltd., Sun Yunzhi wrote articles and took photos about how the 100,000 masks donated by overseas Chinese were delivered to the epidemic prevention and emergency center of the health department and hospital of Lombardy, the most severely stricken region in Italy. From what his articles, we knew that an old overseas Chinese had prepared lunch for the medical staff of two local hospitals many times and that all the overseas Chinese had donated money through a fund-raising WeChat group.

Recently, Chen Jianxin, president of the Spanish Association of Overseas Chinese, together with other overseas Chinese, donated protective clothing to six hospitals in Madrid, and medical protective materials such as masks, protective clothing, goggles, and alcohol hand sanitizer to some local hospitals and police stations.

It has become a consensus for more and more nations to learn from China in fighting against the disease, and overseas Chinese have played a major role in the process. They have done their best to spread China’s experience to as many countries as possible.

On March 18, local time, the second group of Chinese anti-epidemic medical experts arrived at Malpensa Airport in Milan, Italy, carrying 9 tons of medical materials donated by China, including respirators and dual-channel infusion pumps. Sun Yunzhi's “Italian Voice of China”, a local Chinese Radio, was the only Chinese media invited to the airport to present reports.

Sun Yunzhi said, "We will spread the news that the Chinese expert group has come to Italy and related interview video to wider areas as soon as possible to bring confidence and courage to more people. In addition, through our Chinese and Italian media, we will introduce more common knowledge about epidemic prevention to overseas Chinese and local people. "

On March 13, Sun Yunzhi issued an emergency recruitment order on his media: "The Italian and Chinese expert group is going to hold a video conference on epidemic prevention and control, and interpreters are urgently needed!" To his surprise, he received a total of more than 200 applications from all over the world, including many Italians proficient in Chinese.

On the package of the materials donated by the Toronto Chinese Association in Canada to local hospitals were printed “we are together!”. This is exactly what overseas Chinese want to say to the world.
