Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City (Yuhang District)
The Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City in Hangzhou has been open to the public since July after it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The core zone of the site covers 14.3 square kilometers, including a 3.66-sq-km open area. The well-preserved heritage park is divided into ten zones.
Hangzhou Hubin Pedestrian Street (Shangcheng District)
After nine months of work, the length of the pedestrian street was increased to nearly 2,000 meters from the previous 650 meters, and more retail shops were added. The pedestrian street is located near the well-known West Lake, a World Cultural Heritage Site. Besides, the West Lake Music Fountain next to the street has reopened recently.
Qianjiang New City Lighting Show (Jianggan District)
The lighting show shines alongside the Qiantang River, and the best place to appreciate it is the City Balcony of the Qianjiang New City. The schedule of the lighting show has adjusted for "wintertime." The regular lighting time is 18:30 and19:30 every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. Themed lighting shows will illuminate in big days.
Wulin Road (Xiacheng District)
Besides the renewed night scenery, a series of “box rooms” were built at the south point of the street with five themes. Tourists can enjoy a cup of herbal tea and take photos with artworks by independent designers.
Zhejiang University Museum of Art and Archaeology (Xihu District)
Located at the Zhejiang University Zijingang Campus, the museum has opened to the public free of charge from September 9. A legendary broken stone tablet by Yan Zhenqing from the Tang dynasty is now on display at the museum.
Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center (Binjiang District)
The "Big Lotus" is the main stadium of the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center as well as the main stadium of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
The “Little Iceland” (Xihu District)
The "Little Iceland" in Hangzhou goes viral online recently as a magic photoshoot spot. It is "hidden" in the Phoenix International Innovation Industry Campus, Yichuang Town, Hangzhou.
The Post Office of Xiling Seal Engravers' Society (West Lake Scenic Spots)
The post office is located at the Xiling Seal Engravers' Society, on No.31 Gushan Road. It is the first seal-themed post office in China. Limited edition of postcards and postage stamps can be found there.
Wentao Road Runway(Binjiang District)
Wentao Road, alongside the Qiantang River, was dubbed as the "most beautiful urban runway." Cherry flowers, crape myrtles, sweet-scented osmanthus, and red maples were planted alongside the road to make sure that the flower blossoms can be seen in every season.
Xiaobaihua Yue Opera Theater(Xihu District)
Located on Shuguang Road, the Xiaobaihua Yue Opera Theater has started a new season featuring classic local Yue operas in Hangzhou last month. The theater, designed by Chinese architect Li Zuyuan, resembles a giant butterfly resting in the neighboring West Lake, the city's iconic tourist spot, as well as a thousand sliver butterfly logos on the façade.
