The 13th Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo (CCIE) came to an end in Hangzhou in Zhejiang province on Sept 22.
A total of 16.75 billion yuan ($2.35 billion) in deals were signed during the five-day event, including 15 billion yuan in project financing, hitting a record high in history.
The organizers said 73 percent of the exhibitors have booked a place at next year's expo.
As one of China's biggest cultural and creative industry events, this year's gala attracted over 286,000 visitors and 2,000 cultural enterprises and institutions from 53 countries and regions, to display their featured products in the 70,000-square-meter exhibition area.
The international exhibition area doubled in size since last year, accounting for 50 percent of the total area in the main venue.
Having been successfully held annually for 13 years, CCIE has become one of the four major expos in China's cultural and creative industry and is now a signature event for Hangzhou.
