On July 31, 2012, contract signing ceremony of Hangzhou Metro Line 2 vehicles and traction system and signaling system was held. The signing marked the Hangzhou Metro Line 2 project turned steadily from the comprehensive civil construction installation phase to the electrical equipment purchase.
