China's biggest electric bus charging station was unveiled in Hangzhou.

In addition to 401 EV parking spots, 304 charging piles have been installed inShitang Charging Station, supporting 400 electric buses to reach a full charge, which adds up to 60 kilowatt-electricity.

It is also predicted that the total amount of electricity charged will reduce 28 tons of carbon emission per year.

Smart EV charging is another thing worth mentioning. It is possible for a bus to charge simply by plugging in and moving from the outlet, and payment will be automatically deducted from the system known as the “bus digital platform”.

The zero-emission electric bus adoption is growing. This year Hangzhou has made a wholesale conversion from gas to electric buses. The urban area has operated an all-electric buses plan, with 500,000 to 600,000 electric buses covering the city routes within 5 years.
