Cultural and travel elements from Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, were showcased at the 2020 China International Travel Mart in Shanghai from Nov 16 to 18, local media reported.
The Hangzhou delegation was led by the Hangzhou Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau and consisted of around 10 cultural and tourism units from across the city.
The Hangzhou booth displayed a variety of cultural and tourism products, and put on a variety of artistic performances for visitors. Many Shanghai residents and tourism insiders showed great interest in traveling to Hangzhou.
Hangzhou also set up an online booth to attract more visitors from across the globe, showcasing its rich culture and latest travel products.
The three-day event was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and the Shanghai municipal government. In addition to attracting exhibitors from 31 domestic provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, the event was also attended by overseas exhibitors from around 50 countries and regions.
