A delegation consisting of Senegalese news officials and media staff visited Hangzhou on 4th December, who was deeply impressed by the Hangzhou landmarks.

International Expo Centre in Xiaoshan district and Alibaba Xixi Campus in Yuhang district are the two venues for the tour.

The International Expo Centre is the place where the G20 summit in 2016 was held, which consists of the receiving area, the meeting hall, the dining hall and the hanging garden. The total area of the meeting hall is about 2000 square meters, and tables for countries’ representatives are all fenced up in round shape and the delegation members were all imipressed by its gorgeous furnishing . 

Alibaba Xixi campus covers 260,000 square kmeters in the Yuhang district. The representatives visited the exhibition hall for the international guests, where they were informed on the current development of the e-commerce giant.

Moussa Drame, a coorespondent from the South Communication Group Senegal, said it was a fruitful experience. “Alibaba’s history and the current scale of operation are very impressive,” he added that he had got much insights from Chinese e-commerce industry, “it was conductive to know the current situation of the Chinese electronic technology developments.”
