Hangzhou, capital city of East China's Zhejiang province, hosted an exhibition at the Hangzhou Painting Academy on Oct 15 to commemorate the fourth Hangzhou International Day.
The exhibition, which will run until Oct 25, showcases oil paintings, traditional Chinese paintings, and woodblock paintings by renowned artists in Hangzhou, as well as students from the China Academy of Art.
Eduardo Naranjo, a well-known Spanish surrealist painter, was invited to attend the exhibition.
The fourth Hangzhou International Day was inaugurated in Hangzhou on Sept 5. In April 2018, Hangzhou designated Sept 5 as International Day to mark the anniversary of the closing of the 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit. The festival has since become an annual event and has helped raise the city's international profile.
