First Expert Meeting for Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games Held

One year left until the opening of Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games, the first expert meeting of the Games was held at the National Olympic Committee with the presence of Dr. Salehi Amiri, the NOC President.

Iran NOC; Tehran: The meeting was convened by Dr. Salehi Amiri, President of the National Olympic Committee, Dr. Nasrollah Sajjadi, Senior Advisor to the President, Peyman Fakhri, Director of the National Teams Monitoring Center, Ali Raghbati, Director General of the Planning Office of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and Farid Fattahian, Director of NOC International Relations Department. At the meeting, Peyman Fakhri first presented a full report on the disciplines, events and venues of the Asian Games and the measure taken by Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee. Dr. Salehi Amiri, President of the National Olympic Committee also emphasized on sending a qualified delegation to the Asian Games and avoiding quantification in sports. At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed the disciplines to be sent to the Hangzhou Asian Games.
