The achievement exhibition of the second bronze carving workshop, under the theme of “Craft Masters and Their Apprentices”, was held on the morning of 13^th August. Works of 25 workshop members from all over China were exhibited, sharing what they’d learnt during the past month. Bronze carving is a traditional cultural craft with a history of thousands of years. The fact that bronze carving is extremely difficult to learn has scared many young people off. “I can feel how important traditional craft is to many young people. It’d be impossible to pass down traditional Chinese crafts without confidence and love,” said an expert who attended this unique workshop.
