The China Academy of Art launched an exhibition showcasing its recent graduates' fine art works on June 1 at Zhejiang Art Museum in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province.
It marked the start of the third Zhejiang International Youth Art Week, which includes exhibitions of the final-year projects by graduates from CAA and the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, two famed higher education institutes of art that are based in Hangzhou.
This year's events will last until June 16 in 10 exhibition sites across the city, including Zhejiang Art Museum, Zhejiang Exhibition Hall, and Zhejiang Westlake Gallery. On display are more than 3,500 artworks, in a total space of nearly 18,000 square meters. There are no entrance fees charged for the exhibitions.
