Guests from more than 30 countries, including foreign diplomats in China, visited Hangzhou, capital city of East China's Zhejiang province on the morning of April 14.
During the trip, the envoys learnt about the achievements made by Zhejiang in pursuing coordinated, innovative, green and open development for all, carrying on theDouble-Eight Strategy, and building the province into "an important showcase" in the new era.
They visited carmaker Zhejiang Geely Holding Group and H3C, a leader in cloud technology.
They visited the China National Tea Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on April 15 to experience the charm of Zhejiang's tea culture.
During the trip, they learnt about the history, stories, and customs of tea in the city.
"China has a long history in planting tea and boasts a profound tea culture," said Raja Dato' Nushirwan Zainal Abidin, ambassador of Malaysia to China.
The trips were part of the"Stories of CPC - Zhejiang's Achievements in Practicing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" thematic briefing, which was held in Hangzhou on April 14.
The event is co-hosted by the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee.
