Hangzhou Dianzi University will open its School of Integrated Circuitsand Engineering in Shaoxing, according to an agreement signed by the university and the municipal government on March 1.

The municipal government said the campus that willbe built in Yuecheng district will boost Shaoxing's integrated circuit industry and bring the city a talent training base.

Based ontheir agreement, the university will build the instituteinto a new type of higher education carrier focusing on talent training, scientific and technological innovation, as well as achievements transformation.
