Zhejiang University and Alibaba launched the futuristic digital medicine joint research center on Mar 3. As an achievement of the two sides' strategic cooperation, the establishment of the center aims to carry out the exploration and research of future digital medical models with the help of AI and machine learning.

Three laboratories are expected to be founded in the center: the smart health medicine lab, digital medical image lab, and smart pharmacy lab.

The young scientist studio initiated by the center will fund young scientists on their primary research by HashRate. The first phase includes 20 projects.
