Zhejiang Athletics Association is partnering with Paopaowang, an app for sports and physical exercise to launch the 2021 Hangzhou Chunfen Run.
This is a virtual and self-directed program that participants can start at their own pace. At a cost of 39RMB, individuals who complete the challenge can get a medal with the design elements of Spring Dawn at Su Causeway (苏堤). Su Causeway is known for its stunning views and a paved walking path lined with willow trees, a great place for joggers who want to take their exercise to the outdoors.
The program has a range of options including 3KM, 5KM, 10KM and a Half marathon for which participants can complete before March 20, the day of Chunfen. Chunfen or the Spring Equinox is the 4th solar term of the year when the day and night become equally long. Traditionally this day marks the beginning of warmer weather so that darkness falls at a later clock time.
