A mother wild duck and her kids – eight newly-born ducklings – swam happily among lotuses in Quyuan Fenghe Park on 27th April. Not far from them was mother moorhen with her four kids looking for food among water plants. Many citizens were attracted here, appreciating and taking photos of these lovely creatures to share the ecological beauty of the West Lake and the fun of new life.
