en.hangzhou.com.cn 2020/04/21 15:56 City Express

The Qiandao Lake, or the Thousand Island Lake in Hangzhou is the nation's first Alipay digital pilot scenic spot that adopts contactless technologies providing services ranging from ticket booking, park entering to check-in at hotels, according to Alipay's announcement on Monday. As a part of the plan, it will roll out the scheme of digital tourist attractions across the country this year.

Meanwhile, an "Angel Code", national medical worker's e-medical certificate which is launched by the National Cultural Tourism Public Welfare Council and Alipay, has been put into use via Alipay, allowing medics to visit hundreds of tourist attractions across the country for free, in a bid to express gratitude for their huge endeavor during the COVID-19 epidemic. It is reported that there are over 7.7 million certified doctors and nurses in China.

After submitting their occupational qualification certificates via the mini-program in Alipay, the certified medics can get their "Angel Code" soon.

Joining the "Angel Code" scheme, the Qiandao Lake scenic spot has seen a growth of tourists recently. Nearly 75% of reservations are made online, and tourists are happy with the contactless services across the scenic area.
