In May and June, Hangzhou will organize more than 3,500 enterprises to participate in a large-scale exhibition called Overseas Hangzhou global exhibition in countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia and Dubai, to explore the global market.
At present, the booths in the Dubai and Vietnam have been sold out, and there are still a few booths leftin Indonesia.This event is hosted by Hangzhou Municipal Government, becoming the largest overseas exhibition for China since the rise of global trade protectionism. Last year, the exhibition area accounted for nearly one quarter of nation's total independently organized overseas trade show space. The order conversion amount in the first quarter of this year represented 51 percent of Zhejiang's growth in exports to emerging markets.
To better support exporters, Hangzhou will cooperate with six other cities in Zhejiang to set up a digital foreign trade alliance to integrate the resources of the government, enterprises, and colleges & universities, to provide policy support, technology tools, market expansion services.
