On December 30, Hangzhou submitted Hangzhou Charity Promotion Regulation (Draft) for consideration to advance the healthy development of charity.

It is based on Hangzhou's actual conditions and has 20 special provisions, including charitable organization identification, online donation rules, disclosure on use of donations, and improvement of charitable trust-supporting system.

"Digital Charity" may become a highlight of Hangzhou. The committee member suggested incorporating charity digital platform carriers and innovative approaches into the regulations, to facilitate the gathering of charitable organizations and the disclosure of donation information.
