Three tea-picking machines help to pick Longjing tea at Meijiawu tea garden in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

According to Wu Chuanyu, Head of the Agricultural Robot Team at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, the tea-picking machine's harvesting efficiency has increased by 50% compared to last year. It can pick up 0.75 kilograms of dry tea per day.

The intelligent tea-picking robot utilizes technologies of image recognition and big data algorithms to achieve precise movement by controlling the robotic arm.
