Qiantang district has unveiled its ambitious blueprint for new landmark constructions, showcasing several key projects that are progressing vigorously.

Among the highlighted initiatives, the wide-body aircraft project, set for completion at the end of April this year, stands out as Qiantang's "top domestic configuration" project. Spanning approximately 294,000 square meters with a total construction area of about 538,000 square meters, the project aims to establish a leading domestic production and R&D base for the fuselage parts of wide-body aircrafts. Once operational, the project is expected to produce 45 aircraft annually, focusing on the assembly of the mid and rear sections. This output is projected to meet 50%-60% of China's demand for 250-seat dual-aisle jetliners over the next 20 years. The project is set to provide a significant platform for regional technological innovation, industrial structure upgrading, and breakthroughs in high-end manufacturing.

Subsequently, the largest riparian mudflat wetland in Hangzhou--the Greater Bay Area Wetland Park--is anticipated to open in May. With its unique regional planning and ecological landscape, it is eagerly awaited by many. The multifunctional high-tech industrial park--Eastern International Health Center--is set to be completed in June. This high-rise complex, with the health and wellness industry at its core, combines corporate headquarters, a technology product development zone, and commercial support facilities, further enhancing the region's industrial diversification.

In addition, the Aeon Mall and the Heda Pharma Valley Center, set to open in the early summer and at the end of this year, respectively. will both infuse new commercial vitality into Qiantang.
