Binjiang rolls out new policies to attract talents

The opening ceremony of the Talent Activity Week was held in Hangzhou High-tech Zone (Binjiang) on November 20.

During the event, a total of 15 new policies targeting digital economy industry were announced, to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation. One notable policy includes the provision of supporting funds to the enterprises that have been approved for national and provincial major projects. These enterprises meeting relevant conditions can enjoy a maximum subsidy of 20 million yuan; for enterprises that invest in independent research & development and achieve actual sales, a maximum subsidy of 50 million yuan will be provided.

In addition, China Postgraduate Innovation and Practice Incubation Base (Hangzhou) has been settled in Binjiang. As the well-known "Youth Zone" in Zhejiang, Binjiang has attracted over 58,000 college students this year, and the number of talents with master and doctor degrees remains the first in the city. In the future, Binjiang will provide postgraduates with the basic entrepreneurial condition and support to engage in innovative practice projects.

Every year, Binjiang District invests more than 1 billion yuan in supporting talent work, implements the overseas talent entrepreneurship support program, and takes the road for high-quality development.
