Luo Xuejuan from Hangzhou is a female swimmer. She has won the champions of the women's breaststroke events at the FINA Swimming World Championships and Athens Olympic Games, setting a new Olympic record.

She is a local athlete in Hangzhou, and has made significant contributions to Chinese Swimming Team. During Hangzhou Asian Games Torch Relay, she is the first torchbearer, to express the response to the bidding process of the Asian Games, as well as the emotion for the event to be held in the hometown.

Luo Xuejuan believes that the honor of being the first torchbearer does not belong to her alone, and it is the honor given to the entire athlete community and Hangzhou people.
