"Speaking of out-of-province and overseas travel, we have travelled in space!" Hangzhou netizens commented when they saw a set of space pictures.
This set of pictures is actually "Space Strings", a set of panoramic artworks of the earth captured with the smart satellite launched by the enterprise in Hangzhou, recording the stunning scene that the earth dances with the satellite. This is the first time for human beings to depend on space computing to take the 360-degree panoramic image of the earth on the low orbit satellite located in a place that is only 500 km from the earth.
The satellite was launched on August 10, and successfully entered its intended orbit. It is China's first artificial intelligence satellite that takes the artificial intelligence load as the core and has the intelligent operating system, named as "Intelligent Emergency Earth Satellite 1".
Dr. Wang Chunhui participating in the research and development of the satellite, said: "'Space Strings' can bring us into the era of space computing. The first result of the computation is that people can 'shuttle through space' on the ground without spending another 50 million US dollars in taking a spaceship."
