In 2022, Zhejiang Museum of Natural History, the provincial-level museum in Hangzhou, was developed into the first 24-hour museum of China, making the night tour for museums become the new travel mode. Since July 31, Hangzhou has adjusted the opening hours of 52 municipal-level state-owned museums all over the city. Among them, 28 museums are open to the public on Monday.
By the end of 2022, Hangzhou had built 11 theaters (including provincial-level theaters). More and more repertoires would be premiered in the major theaters of Hangzhou. This can not only drive the development of local culture, but also promote the cultural tourism consumption of surrounding areas.

In 2022, Hangzhou owned 274 cartoon & animation games enterprises, with 12,431 employees, able to achieve the main business income of 40.8 billion yuan. Cai Zhizhong, Zhu Deyong and other famous cartoon & animation experts of China have successively settled in Hangzhou.
