On August 22, Zhejiang Team defeated PortFC Team with the score of 1:0 at the home game in AFC Champions League 2023-2024 (Playoff Stage). After a gap of 12 years, it returned to the highest-level professional football match of Asia.

In the first half of the game, both parties failed to score. In the second half of the game, Zhejiang Team broke the deadlock. Team Captain Frank took a long-range shot from Leonardo in front of the restricted zone to pierce through the goal of PortFC Team, helping Zhejiang Team stay ahead. At the final stage, Zhejiang Team was suppressed by PortFC Team in its own half of the pitch, but the team’s defensive line was not loose. Zhejiang Team successfully maintained the score of 1:0 till the end of the game.
