Recently, Hangzhou Main Project of the Newly Excavated Waterway Section of the Canal Passage II has passed the delivery acceptance.
The Canal Passage II is the core part of the III-class Waterway Renovation Project of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal (Zhejiang Section), starts from Linping, extends southward to Babao along the boundary between Linping and Tongxiang, and converges into Qiantang River, with a total length of 26.4 km.
This project is key hubs of Hangzhou "5433" Modern Integrated Transportation. Among them, as the control node of the Canal Passage II, Babao Ship Lock Section is a rare 1,000-ton navigation lock in China, with simultaneous construction of double lines.
