Recently, Hangzhou West Lake Waters Management Office has conducted the first background survey on fish diversity. Through the investigation, it is found that 36 fish species live in the West Lake, which surprises everyone greatly.

The relevant person in charge said: “The West Lake is one of the world’s rare large-scale lakes located in the center of major cities, and it is more susceptible to the complexity of human activities. The diversity of species indirectly reflects the effectiveness of ecological management in recent years. This allows tourists to feel the natural beauty of the ecological West Lake.”
